It get's generated from a program and there is no option to change the format when it's generated. Unfortunately I only have a starter version of Excel and it doesn't have that feature.

Have you tried LibreOffice? That should work. LibreOffice It's more of a sample it actually has many more. I can always try to just get the body first and then go back and manually enter in the header. If the text columns are variable width, then it'll be much harder to accomplish. It doesn't allow me to format it the way i need without re-typing almost everything. Does the real file have the same number of header columns as data columns? Does the data have spaces and commas? These questions were asked above, but I didn't see a clear answer.

Also: Is here always more that one space separating columns? No it has more data columns than header columns.

The header has commas the body has spaces. There are some that are almost tabbed and some with only a few spaces.
